It's okay to simply hit the "back" button instead of posting on something you clearly don't understand. Such is the case in a lot of websites where the vast majority of people won't wait for long page loads, and the attackers cannot take a website entirely offline. A good portion of them simply increase packet round trips so much that people lose interest. In fact, a good portion of DDoS attacks actually don't take services down. A server does not have to be totally offline to be the recipient of a distributed denial of service attack. One is extremely high packet round trips (high ping). If you understood what a distributed denial of service attack was, you'd understand that there are several symptoms. That's btw not what a ddos would entail :PĢ55 is the highest that is reported.
